Biographie :

Valerie Cummins est directrice du centre de ressources côtières et marines à l’université de Cork (Irlande), The Centre for Environment Fisheries and Aquaculture Science. Outre la gestion de projets, Valérie Cummins est spécialiste du GIS comme outil pour contrôler les différents aspects de l’environnement côtier, ainsi que la gestion côtière intégrée. Valérie Cummins est activement engagée dans la recherche de ces secteurs. Elle coordonne deux aspects stratégiques de la recherche à l’UCC’s Environmental Research Institute : la modélisation et la gestion environnementale au service de la gestion intégrée du littoral.
